George Floyd: Minneapolis Reaches Agreement Of $27 Million With George Floyd’s Family

The lawyers handling the case of late George Floyd’s a black american who was wrongly murdered by a Minneapolis officer said they have reached agreement of $27 Million settlement with Minneapolis, the city in which he was murdered.
According to the attorneys who described the death as unlawful, declared that the case was the largest before-trial settlement in history of civil rights in the US record.
Recall George Floyd’s horrific death was witnessed by millions of people around the globe, which everyone anticipate judgement being administered accordingly.

The settlement was to resolve the lawsuits, filed in July, against Minneapolis police department and – Chauvin Derek, Tao Thao, Thomas Lane and J. Alexander Keung – the officers involved in Mr Floyd’s death.
Mr Chauvin, who was last May caught on camera pinning Mr Floyd’s neck to the ground while he gasped for breath and cried for help, is on trial for murder and manslaughter.
The three other police officers who were at the scene are also facing charges.
