Gunmen kill senior Army officer in suspected kidnap attempt


A senior officer of the Nigerian Army, Colonel Abdussalam A. Ude, has been killed during a suspected kidnap attempt in Nasarawa State, in an incident that has raised fresh concerns over the country’s security challenges.
