Residents of Eziobodo were thrown into panic after suspected herders reportedly attacked the community, injuring a minor and several other residents.

According to reports, the attackers attempted to abduct some members of the community before security operatives and local vigilantes intervened.

Police and vigilante groups were said to have responded quickly, foiling the alleged abduction attempt and restoring calm to the area.

Community members expressed concern over rising insecurity and called on authorities to strengthen security presence to prevent further attacks.
