Police Arrest Three Suspected Gang Members in Adamawa


The Adamawa State Police Command has arrested three suspected criminals, including two alleged members of the notorious Shilla gang, during separate operations in Yola North and Yola South Local Government Areas.
According to the police, the arrests were made as part of ongoing efforts to combat criminal activities and enhance public safety across the state. Security operatives reportedly acted on credible intelligence and intensified patrols in areas known for criminal activities.
The command said the suspects are believed to have been involved in various unlawful acts that have posed security concerns within their communities. Investigations are currently underway to determine the extent of their involvement in criminal operations and identify any accomplices.
Police authorities reaffirmed their commitment to tackling gang-related violence, robbery, and other crimes, stressing that proactive policing and community cooperation remain essential in maintaining law and order.
