MAKINDE RENEWS WAGE AWARD, TRANSPORT SUBSIDY FOR OYO WORKERS
Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has approved the renewal of the wage award and transport subsidy for civil servants in the state for another three months.
The extension is aimed at cushioning the effects of economic hardship and supporting workers amid rising living costs.
The governor’s decision is expected to provide additional financial relief to state workers as they continue to deal with increased transportation and household expenses.
The wage award and transport subsidy form part of measures introduced by the state government to ease the impact of economic challenges on workers and other residents.
The extension means eligible workers will continue to receive the interventions for another three months, subject to the conditions set by the state government.
