LAGOS BEGINS 35-DAY LEKKI-EPE ROAD REPAIRS THURSDAY
The Lagos State Government is set to begin a 35-day repair exercise on the Lekki-Epe Expressway on Thursday as part of efforts to improve road conditions and ease movement along the busy corridor.
The repair work is expected to address damaged sections of the road, which serves thousands of commuters and supports commercial activities across the Lekki and Epe axis.
Motorists may experience traffic delays during the exercise, particularly around sections where construction activities are taking place.
Road users are advised to allow extra time for their journeys, drive carefully around work zones and follow traffic management instructions from officials.
The Lekki-Epe corridor is an important route for residents, businesses and commuters travelling between different parts of Lagos, making the repairs significant for daily transportation.
The government is expected to complete the exercise within the scheduled 35-day period, subject to the progress of work and prevailing conditions.
