J.J OKOCHA BARS DAUTHER FROM PLAYING FOOTBALL

Nigerian football icon, Augustine Azuka ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha might have made his wealth through soccer, but he wouldn’t want his daughter to follow suit.  Okocha who made his money while playing for top clubs such as Paris Saint German, Bolton and Hull City believes women are poorly remunerated in the game and does not want his daughter to experience such.

The football star said this during a recent chat with Femi and The Gang on Nigeria Info FM, Lagos while fielding questions from social media fans on why his children aren’t playing professional football. “My son is focusing on his education for now and will play football at the right time. Meanwhile, my daughter will never play professional football because they aren’t paid well enough,” he revealed.

The Nigerian former footballer who played as a midfielder is known for his stepovers, skill and technique.

Meanwhile, following his retirement from the game, the famous footballer has engaged himself in several businesses which include hospitality, football Agency Company and many more.

His famous restaurant and bar, Club 10, is one of the most visited in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Last year, it would be recalled that the 42-year-old ex-footballer bought his wife, Nkechi a brand G-Wagon as birthday gift.
