Group Endorses Three APC Aspirants for Lagos LG Primary
A political group, The Mandate Movement, has endorsed three aspirants ahead of the All Progressives Congress (APC) local government primary election in Alimosho.
The group said the endorsement followed what it described as a transparent and merit-based selection process, aimed at presenting credible candidates capable of delivering effective grassroots governance.
Speaking on behalf of the group, leaders emphasized that the chosen aspirants were selected based on competence, track record, and commitment to community development. They added that the move is part of efforts to strengthen party unity and ensure a smooth primary process.
The Mandate Movement also called on party members to rally behind the endorsed aspirants, stressing the importance of cohesion in securing victory for the APC in the forthcoming local government elections.
The APC primary in Lagos is expected to attract significant interest, particularly in key areas like Alimosho, as aspirants intensify consultations and mobilization ahead of the polls.
