Police Arrest Six Over Stolen Tricycles in Kano

The Kano State Police Command has arrested six suspects allegedly involved in the theft and sale of stolen tricycles within the state, authorities confirmed.

 

According to the police, the suspects were apprehended following a series of investigations and coordinated operations aimed at curbing the rising incidents of tricycle theft. The command stated that the arrests were made after credible intelligence and complaints from victims led officers to the alleged criminal network.

 

Police officials disclosed that several stolen items were recovered during the operation, including tricycles and a horse. The recovered properties have since been returned to their rightful owners.

 

The Police Command reiterated its commitment to tackling criminal activities across Kano and warned individuals engaged in theft and illegal trade to desist or face the full weight of the law. Residents were also urged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activities to security agencies.

 

Further investigations are ongoing to determine the full extent of the suspects’ operations and identify possible accomplices.
