The immediate Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, has said he has documents to back his expenditures before his removal.
Obasa challenged anybody with a contrary opinion to make their documents public for comparison.
Recall that Obasa was recently removed as Speaker by lawmakers of the Lagos State House of Assembly.
Obasa was in the United States, US, when he was impeached as Speaker.

During his impeachment, he was accused of financial misappropriation and involvement in some fraudulent practices.
Upon return to Nigeria yesterday, Obasa maintained that he remained the Speaker until lawmakers follow due process to impeach him.
Addressing his followers, he commended the Governor’s Advisory Council, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State and President Bola Tinubu.
According to Obasa: “Those who alleged evil let them prove it, if I’m not carrying the members along it’s secondary and we will discuss that not now but at my own time when everything has been addressed and I will come back to you.
“We have documents to support expenditures we incurred in the Lagos State House of Assembly and if any other person believes contrary, let them bring their own document let’s compare.
“To our governor, I have said it that I thank and commend him for what he is doing, to Mr President and GAC, they are our leaders and we appreciate them.”
