PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION: JONATHAN, BUHARI ACCREDITED

The two major candidates for today’s presidential elections have done their accreditation this morning. Gen Buhari, the APC presidential candidate was first to do at his polling centre in Daura, Kastina State at around 8:30am while President Goodluck Jonathan of the PDP had his in Otuoke, Bayelsa at around 9: 45am. The latter’s accreditation and that of his wife were delayed a bit as the INEC officials assigned to the booth had hiccups operating the card reader.

The two candidates are expected to vote later in the day at their respective polling booths.
