EPL: Liverpool Misses Chance To Go Top

Liverpool missed the opportunity to leapfrog Manchester City into first place in the Premier League table, as they were held to a 0-0 draw by Everton in the Merseyside derby on Sunday.

The hosts started the game brightly, but it was Jurgen Kloppโ€™s men who had the best chances of the match.

The result means Liverpool now occupy the second spot with 70 points, one behind Manchester City, who defeated Bournemouth 1-0 on Saturday.

Tottenham Hotspur, who held North London rivals, Arsenal to a 1-1 draw, are in third place with 61 points.

The top four is completed by Manchester United, who climbed up to 58 points, following a stunning comeback win against Southampton at Old Trafford.
