2027: Adelabu Rallies APC Ward Executives Ahead of Governorship Bid

Former Minister of Power, Adebayo Adelabu, has intensified moves toward his 2027 governorship ambition in Oyo State by meeting with ward executives of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Adelabu held consultations with party grassroots leaders, urging unity and early mobilization as he seeks to strengthen his support base ahead of the election cycle. He emphasized the importance of ward executives in shaping electoral outcomes, describing them as the backbone of the party’s structure.

According to him, building consensus at the grassroots level remains key to achieving victory, adding that his engagement is focused on inclusive leadership and development-driven governance for Oyo State.

Party stakeholders at the meeting expressed support for his ambition, pledging to work with him to consolidate the APC’s presence across wards in the state.

The meeting is part of a broader strategy by Adelabu to position himself strongly within the party as political activities gradually gather momentum ahead of the 2027 elections.
