𝗩𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗖 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗡𝗶𝗴𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has reminded eligible Nigerians that the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) exercise will officially end on Sunday, July 26, 2026.
The electoral body urged citizens who are yet to register, transfer their voting location, or update their voter information to complete the process before the deadline, stressing that no further extension has been announced.
INEC said the registration exercise is a crucial step in preparing for the 2027 general elections, encouraging Nigerians to take advantage of the remaining time to secure their right to vote.
The commission also advised applicants to collect their Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) once they are ready, noting that only registered voters with valid PVCs will be eligible to participate in the elections.
INEC reiterated its commitment to conducting a credible and inclusive electoral process, calling on all eligible citizens to ensure they are properly registered before the registration window closes.
