2 min read

Wizkid has been on a row recently, and from shading Davido, he has moved on to Ladipoe and Don Jazzy.

Ladipoe had earlier made a tweet, where he insinuated that Afro beats artists were going through a phase where their careers were falling off.

A concerned netizen drew Wizkid’s attention to Ladipoe’s tweet, and his response was shocking to say the least.

In response to Ladipoe’s tweet, Wizkid said he had nothing to say to someone that was signed to an influencer.

Ladipoe is currently signed to Mavin record label, and his boss is Don Jazzy. In essence, Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as an influencer.

The fact that Wizkid referred to Don Jazzy as an influencer is a bit shocking, but it could have stemmed from the fact that Don Jazzy promotes a lot of people and even artists that are not signed under him.

Don Jazzy has a very strong online presence, and he’s quite accessible on social media, which is one of the reasons why he has such a huge fan base.

The music producer/record label boss is one of the most loved celebrities in Nigeria, and Wizkid’s tweet is bound to upset some people.

Wizkid dragging Don Jazzy and Ladipoe may seem out of character since he’s usually quiet online, but it isn’t entirely so. The singer has rare outbursts online that has him dragging random people online.

On one of such occasions, Wizkid was promoting his upcoming album, and for some reason, he had his claws out. Wizkid warmed bloggers not to promote his content, and he asked Nigerians who were used to his old style of singing to not bother downloading the album.
