Why Remanding Nnamdi Kanu Was The Worst Thing Buhari Did – Reno Omokri

1 min read

Former Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan on New Media, Reno Omokri, has said that the worst thing President Muhammadu Buhari did to remand the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu in prison.

Omokri said that that singular action had made Kanu one of the most popular men in Nigeria.

“The worst thing PMB could have done was jailing Nnamdi Kanu. He is responsible for making him one of the most popular men in Nigeria today!” he wrote on his Twitter page on Friday.

Kanu was released last month from Kuje Prison. His bail condition was perfected at the presence of the Chairman, South East Senate caucus and former Deputy Governor of Abia State, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, a Jewish High Chief Priest, Immanuu-El Shalom and a Chartered Accountant residing in Abuja, Tochukwu Uchendu.

The IPOB leader, who is currently facing trial alongside three other pro-Biafra agitators, Chidiebere Onwudiwe, Benjamin Madubugwu and David Nwawuisi before the Justice Nyako-led court was granted bail on health ground.
