What A Crying Shame: Fani-Kayode Reacts To Photo Of Joshua Prostrating Before Buhari

Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Nigeriam minister has reacted to a photo of World heavy weight champion, Anthony Joshua prostrating before President Muhammadu Buhari.

AJ had gone to visit the president who is London, UK to present his belts to him and during the course of the visit, boxing championed is pictured prostrating at the feet of the president.

 

Prostrating is a way the younger people of southwest, Nigeria, greet elders and Joshua is originally from Ogun state, a state in the region.

 

Reacting, Fani-Kayode described the act as repulsive, while accusing Joshua of bowing before his slave master.

Speaking via his Twitter handle on Sunday evening, the former minister wrote: I find this picture & @anthonyfjoshua’s behaviour utterly repulsive and disgusting. Prostrating before his slave master & a bloodthirsty dictator & tyrant who is viciously persecuting and humiliating his people: what a crying shame. This speaks volumes. He has lost me!
