Luis Enrique has said the first leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-final between Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich could have ended in either side’s favour after a closely contested encounter.

Speaking after the match, the PSG coach described the clash as evenly balanced, noting that both teams created significant chances and showed attacking quality throughout the game. He praised the intensity and competitiveness displayed by the two European giants.

“It was a very open game, and honestly, it could have gone either way,” Enrique said, highlighting the fine margins that often decide matches at such a high level.

The Spaniard also commended his team’s attacking players for their creativity and movement, while acknowledging Bayern’s threat going forward. He stressed the need for focus ahead of the return leg, which he expects to be equally challenging.

The result leaves the tie finely poised, with both teams still in strong contention for a place in the final of Europe’s premier club competition.
