Tinubu Congratulates Tshisekedi On Re-election In DR Congo

President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria has congratulated President Felix Tshisekedi of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DR Congo) on his re-election.

In a statement issued by Chief Ajuri Ngelale, Special Adviser to the President (Media & Publicity), President Tinubu commended the government and people of DR Congo for successfully conducting the recent elections.

President Tinubu also praised the people of DR Congo for upholding democratic norms by exercising their rights without resorting to actions that could undermine democracy.

He expressed his satisfaction with the conclusion of the elections, stating that democracy is sustainable on the African continent.

The Nigerian President congratulated President Tshisekedi on his victory and commended him for his statesmanship in handling regional and continental matters. President Tinubu expressed his belief that Africa will overcome any challenges through governance by popular consent, and that democracy will thrive.

President Tinubu concluded by wishing President Tshisekedi a successful term in office.
