The mother of one has bagged a deal with Prime Video to release her first movie, Water and Garri, which would be made available in over 240 countries worldwide.

Sharing the good news on her Instagram page minutes ago, Tiwa noted how it has been 2 years in the making. She described the project as the most adventurous, and fulfilling things she has done.

Tiwa Savage would play the lead act in this enthralling movie project, which depicts African stories in a more inviting light with the success she has made in the music industry.

The movie which is directed by Meji Alabi and shot in Cape Coast, Ghana, would star Mike Afolarin (Far From Home) and Jemima Osunde (New Money). The movie tells the story of Aisha (Savage), an ambitious fashion designer who returns home after 10 years away in the U.S. but must learn to live with her sc@rs and confront the g¥ilt she left behind.
