Osimhen Names Bassey, Romero Among Toughest Opponents

Victor Osimhen has identified fellow Super Eagles star Calvin Bassey and Tottenham defender Cristian Romero as two of the toughest opponents he has faced in his career.

The Nigerian striker praised both defenders for their physical strength, aggression, and defensive intelligence whenever he comes up against them on the pitch.

Osimhen noted that facing Bassey is especially challenging because they understand each other’s style of play from their time together with the national team.

He also described Romero as a fearless and highly competitive defender who makes life difficult for attackers.

The Super Eagles forward remains one of Africa’s most highly rated strikers following his impressive performances for club and country in recent seasons.
