NBBF VICE-PRESIDENT UDEZUE PLEDGES NATIONWIDE BASKETBALL GROWTH

Newly elected Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF) Vice-President Ugo Udezue has pledged to promote balanced basketball development across Nigeria’s six geopolitical zones.
Udezue said his focus would be on ensuring that basketball receives attention across the country, rather than concentrating development efforts in a few regions.
His pledge comes as the federation begins a new leadership phase, with expectations for stronger grassroots development and improved opportunities for young players.
Balanced investment in coaching, facilities, competitions and talent discovery could help expand participation and strengthen Nigeria’s basketball structure nationwide.
Udezue’s commitment highlights the importance of making basketball development more inclusive and creating opportunities for players across all six zones.
