Naira Weakens Further As Black Market Dollar Rate Soars To N1655/$1

The black market exchange rate for the dollar to naira on Friday, February 16th, 2024, was N1645 for buying and N1655 for selling, according to sources at Bureau De Change (BDC).
This information was obtained from Aboki FX, a platform that tracks the parallel market exchange rates in Nigeria.
It is important to note that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) does not recognize the parallel market and has advised individuals to approach their respective banks for forex transactions.

Meanwhile, the official CBN exchange rate for the dollar to naira was N1492 for buying and N1493 for selling on the same day.
