1 min readThe joy of Chief Balogun Olaonipekun, Dagrin’s dad knew no bounds penultimate Saturday, April 2, 2016, as his daughter, Omobusola Olaonipekun, Dagrin’s immediate younger sister, tied the wedding knot with her charming dude, Wale Gbojuwo.
The nuptial, which took place at Meiran, Lagos State, was well attended by royal fathers, top class celebrities as well as the crème de la crème of the society. Part of royal entourage was Royal Majesty, Oba Dr. Adeola Ishau Balogun, the Olu of Oluke Orile, Baale of Alabelapo and other revered chiefs, all from Itori Kingdom, Ogun State.
The wedding started with the traditional courtesies as the Olaonipekuns and the Gbojuwos get to know one another, and this was immediately followed with a grand reception which ended in gaiety and hysteria.
According to findings, Wale works with Jumia, a notable online retail store while Busola is a professional fashion designer. And both families are said to be from Ogun State.
Meanwhile, while it could be said that the Olaonipekuns have put behind them the tragic death of their late son, Dagrin, the family also took time at the event to remember him as they played his many hit tracks and danced to it heartily.
Dagrin’s dad was the cynosure of many eyes as he took to the dance floor to show his dancing steps when Dagrin’s music were played.
Chief Balogun Olaonipekun is a big player in the real estate business and also in the entertainment world.
