Lagos State, the epicenter of the Coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria has recorded its lowest number of cases in over two months according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
The list of states with new infections that tested positive for the coronavirus on Friday showed a significant difference with 340 new infections confirmed in the country.
The new cases were confirmed by NCDC in its update for August 21, 2020.
This is the first time in more than two months that the figure for Lagos will drop below 40; the last time was on June 7 when the state recorded 38 new cases.
