Lagos Govt Seals Church, Fuel Station Over Environmental Violations
1 min readThe Lagos State Government has sealed four establishments, including a church and a fuel station, across various locations in the state for violating environmental regulations.
The enforcement was carried out by the Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency (LASEPA) in areas such as Gbagada, Ogudu, Ojodu, and Agidingbi.
The establishments affected include Divine Perfection Ministry (a church), Eagle Paints Nigeria Limited, Daveoris Global Ventures Limited, and Ene Global.

These organizations were shut down for failing to comply with environmental standards despite receiving prior notices.
Tokunbo Wahab, the State Commissioner for Environment and Water Resources, confirmed that the move is part of the government’s ongoing effort to create a healthier and more sustainable environment for residents.
He emphasized that such actions would continue as long as businesses and organizations do not adhere to established environmental standards.
