Katsina Approves N3.8bn Loan for 2026 Hajj Slots
The Katsina State Government has approved a N3.8 billion loan to secure 3,890 Hajj slots for intending pilgrims from the state ahead of the 2026 pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia.
State officials said the loan was approved to ensure early arrangements and smooth participation of pilgrims in the annual Islamic pilgrimage.
The government noted that the intervention would help facilitate travel logistics, accommodation, and other essential preparations for the Hajj exercise.
Authorities also assured intending pilgrims of proper coordination to ensure a successful and hitch-free pilgrimage next year.
