In a sit-down interview with KissFresh radio, the South African singer was asked what it was like working with Nigerian singer Tems.

Tyla responded that the experience was amazing, and that Tems is very talented. She went on to say that Tems is a force, and that she has opened a lot of doors for female singers.

The South African singer also spoke about working with Tems, and how it has been an honor working with her.

Tyla and Tems released a song titled No.1 together, and it was quite successful when it was released. Both singers were phenomenal on the song, and ended up creating a masterpiece.

Apart from Tems, Tyla has been quite open to working with Nigerian singers. She has often been seen hanging out with Ayra Starr, and both singers are often compared with each other, especially their fashion sense.

Both Tyla and Ayra Starr are known for wearing daring miniskirts, low-hung trousers, and any risqué outfit at all, while slaying in it.

Tyla has made her mark in the foreign music scene, starting from Nigeria, down to the Western world. Her works even got recognized at the Grammys, and she won an award.

In the same category that Tyla won at the Grammys, there was Davido, Ayra Starr, and a few other Nigerians. Davido seemed quite elated about being nominated, and even threw a party after the award show.

There was a huge consolation win for Nigerians at the Grammys, with Burnaboy popping up as the first Afro beats act to perform at the Grammys.

Burnaboy on his own has collected a Grammy award in the past. In the year 2021, the Nigerian singer won the category for Best Global Album, for his Twice as Tall album. It was a huge win for the singer at the time, and Nigerians as a whole.
