Davido is currently on a visit to Uganda, and it’s not just an ordinary one. He has a show there but had to a brief detour to the International University of East Africa, where he was honored by the university, and asked to launch the first Faculty of Music and Arts in their school.

The award winning singer shared a plaque that commemorated the event, and in another post that he shared on his story, he was seen dedicating a new building, called “Davido Hall”.

It isn’t everyday that a musician gets an entire hall in a university dedicated to him, and it not a common occurrence for artists to be honored with the launch of a new faculty in a different country, but Davido did all that.
