Nigerian businessman and industrialist, Aliko Dangote has reclaimed his position as the richest man in Africa.
Recall that Forbes Magazine’s 2024 rankings listed South African billionaire Johann Rupert as the continent’s richest man.
As of Tuesday, January 2, 2024, Forbes reports that Johann Rupert’s net worth is $10.3 billion, surpassing Aliko Dangote’s $9.5 billion.

In the latest Forbes global ranking (real-time), on Tuesday, January 9, Aliko Dangote is positioned as the 191st wealthiest individual in the world, whereas Johann Rupert holds the 195th position.
