Court Grants Order For Mohbad’s Wife To Be Served Notice Of Impending DNA Test Application

The Chief Magistrate Court sitting in Ikorodu has granted the order that Omowunmi, the widowed wife of the late singer, Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba aka Mohbad to be served a notice of the pending DNA test application.

The legal team led by Emmanuel Oroko told the court that the Sheriff of the court had attempted twice to serve Wunmi the court process but failed. He stated that if the process were served on her last known address, it would constitute good service and she would be aware of the pending suit.

The Chief Magistrate then ordered that Wunmi should be served by posting the court process on her last known address. The new order by the court was contained in a statement signed by a member of the legal team to the Aloba family, Monoplane Odumosu, and obtained by PUNCH.

The case has since been adjourned till a later date.
