Court Grants Cubana Chief Priest N10million Bail

Nigerian businessman, Pascal Chibuike Okechukwu better known as Cubana Chief Priest has been granted N10M million bail.

 

Society watch reported hours ago that EFCC had arraigned the businessman over Naira abuse.

Channel Television reported that EFCC had filed a three-count charge against the businessman for allegedly spraying and tampering with the naira at a social event contrary to the provisions of the Central Bank Act of 2007.

The businessman had arrived before Justice Kehinde Ogundare of the Federal High Court, Lagos on Wednesday morning, April 17th, 2024, and had pleaded not guilty to the charges of naira abuse.

While being arraigned in court this morning, his counsel, Chukwusolo Onukwi opposed the charges filed against him by the EFCC.

He had also filed a bail application which has been granted by the judge.

 

 

The judge had granted him N10million bail.
