Collective Effort Key to Fighting Corruption in Nigeria, Group Says

A civic organization, All Campus Show, has stressed the need for collective action and a change in public mindset to effectively tackle corruption in Nigeria.
The group said the fight against corruption cannot be left to government agencies alone, noting that meaningful progress requires the active participation of citizens, institutions, and community leaders.
According to the organization, corruption has continued to hinder national development, weaken public trust, and limit economic opportunities. It urged Nigerians to embrace values of integrity, accountability, and transparency in their daily activities.
The group also emphasized the importance of educating young people on ethical leadership and responsible citizenship, arguing that lasting change begins with a shift in attitudes and behavior.
Speaking on the issue, representatives of All Campus Show called on citizens to reject practices that encourage corruption and support initiatives aimed at promoting good governance and accountability.
They maintained that with sustained public commitment and collective responsibility, Nigeria can make significant progress in reducing corruption and strengthening national development.
