Champions League: Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Reveals How Man Utd Will Defeat PSG In Paris

1 min read

Manchester United interim Manger Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has insisted his side has a good chance of qualifying into the next round if his team can get the first goal against PSG on Wednesday night.

United trail the French champions 2-0 going into the second leg of the last 16 tie at Parc des Princes, with caretaker boss Solskjaer missing 10 senior players. Despite United being given little hope of advancing, Solskjaer said his makeshift side will go into tomorrow’s tie believing they can go through against all the odds.

“It’s never mission impossible. It’s more difficult, but we’ve got to get the first goal and then anything can happen. “Suddenly, goals always change games and if we get the first one we’ll be believing even more and they might start doubting themselves, but it’s important we get the first one.

“You can say that [there’s no pressure on United] because we’re 2-0 down, but we’ll never approach any game as a lost cause. “We put that pressure on ourselves. Everyone expects us to go out – and easily – but that doesn’t happen with Manchester United. “Our pride was hurt last time we played them, so we’re going to see players who give their all. If we get nine or 10 playing to their top standard, we’ve got a chance,” Solskjaer told Sky Sports
