ATIKU TO CAMPAIGN IN ALL 36 STATES — ADC CAMPAIGN COUNCIL

The African Democratic Congress (ADC) campaign council has announced that former Vice President Atiku Abubakar plans to campaign across all 36 states of Nigeria ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

According to the council, the planned nationwide tour is intended to take Atiku’s campaign to voters across the country as political activities ahead of the election gather momentum.

The announcement places nationwide outreach at the centre of the campaign’s stated plans, with visits to different states expected to provide opportunities to engage voters and communicate the party’s message.

The council also contrasted Atiku’s proposed campaign schedule with President Bola Tinubu’s campaign activities, although further details supporting that comparison were not provided in the brief.

Atiku’s planned tour comes as political parties and their prospective candidates prepare for the 2027 election, with campaigning and voter engagement expected to feature prominently in the months ahead.
