Atiku, Amaechi, Hayatu-Deen Obtain ADC Presidential Forms

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, ex-Minister of Transportation Rotimi Amaechi, and banker Mohammed Hayatu-Deen have obtained presidential nomination forms of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The nomination forms, reportedly priced at N90 million, signal growing political activity and early positioning among aspirants seeking the party’s presidential ticket.

Party officials said the move reflects increasing interest in the ADC as politicians begin consultations and alignments ahead of the next election cycle.

Political observers say the entry of prominent figures into the race could intensify competition within the opposition landscape as parties prepare for the 2027 polls.
