APC BOASTS 13 MILLION MEMBERS, 31 GOVERNORS AHEAD OF 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) says its reported 13 million members, control of 31 state governments and extensive grassroots network give the party a strong political presence ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The ruling party believes its membership strength and nationwide political structures provide an advantage as it prepares for another electoral contest.

The APC also points to its governors and grassroots mobilisation network as important factors in its efforts to consolidate support across the country.

The party’s claims come amid growing political activities, with opposition parties also working to strengthen their structures and build alliances ahead of the 2027 elections.

However, membership figures and the number of states controlled by a party do not automatically determine electoral outcomes, which will ultimately depend on voters and the conduct of the elections.
