APC Stakeholders Seek Tinubu’s Intervention in Lagos Primaries Dispute
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Eti-Osa Constituency I have appealed to President Bola Tinubu to intervene in the ongoing dispute arising from the party’s primaries in Lagos State.
The party members insisted that Noheem Adams emerged as the rightful winner of the primary election and called on the APC leadership to uphold what they described as the will of party members and delegates.
Speaking on behalf of the stakeholders, representatives expressed concern over the controversy surrounding the primary process, arguing that failure to address the matter fairly could undermine confidence in the party’s internal democratic mechanisms.
They urged President Tinubu, regarded as a key leader of the APC, to facilitate a peaceful resolution of the dispute and ensure that justice is served in accordance with the party’s rules and guidelines.
The stakeholders maintained that Adams secured victory during the exercise and appealed to relevant party organs to review the circumstances surrounding the disagreement to prevent further divisions within the constituency.
They also called on party members to remain calm and avoid actions that could escalate tensions while efforts are being made to resolve the issue.
The appeal comes amid growing attention on the outcome of party primaries across various constituencies as political parties continue preparations for future electoral contests.
