Again, NELFUND Extends Student Loan Application for 2025/2026 Academic Session
The Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND) has announced another extension of the application deadline for its student loan programme for the 2025/2026 academic session.
The extension is aimed at giving more eligible students across the country additional time to complete their applications and benefit from the federal government’s student loan initiative.
NELFUND officials said the decision followed requests from prospective applicants and institutions seeking more time to process and submit required documentation.
The student loan scheme, introduced to support access to higher education, provides financial assistance to cover tuition fees and other educational expenses for qualified students in Nigerian tertiary institutions.
The agency encouraged interested students who are yet to apply to take advantage of the extended deadline and complete their applications through the official platform.
