Benue Gov Taps N’Central Commission to Boost Security
Benue State Governor, Hyacinth Alia, has called for stronger collaboration with the North-Central Development Commission to address rising insecurity and accelerate development in the region.
The governor made the appeal during a meeting with officials of the commission, stressing the need for coordinated efforts to tackle security challenges affecting communities across the state.
Alia noted that enhanced partnership with the commission would help support security initiatives, improve infrastructure, and promote socio-economic growth in Benue and the wider North-Central region.
He also urged the commission to prioritize projects that would strengthen local security networks and provide relief to communities impacted by violence.
The governor expressed confidence that sustained collaboration between the state government and the North-Central Development Commission would contribute significantly to restoring peace and advancing development in the region.
