Army Rescues Two Bank Staff Kidnapped In Benue
Troops of the Nigerian Army have rescued two staff members of Unity Bank who were kidnapped in Benue State.
The victims were freed during a successful intelligence-led operation carried out by soldiers in a location within neighbouring Taraba State, where the kidnappers were believed to have taken them.
According to security sources, the rescue operation was launched after credible intelligence revealed the whereabouts of the abducted bank workers.
Troops reportedly stormed the area and secured the release of the victims without casualties.
The two bank staff have since been reunited with their families and are said to be receiving medical attention and psychological support after the ordeal.
Security officials said efforts are ongoing to track down the kidnappers and ensure they are brought to justice.
