Bobrisky, VDM Saga: ‘Some People Have Threatened To Burn My Office, Kill My Daughter’ – Falana
1 min readSenior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, has disclosed that his family is facing serious threats, including death threats against one of his daughters, following his decision to sue social media critic Martins Otse, known as VeryDarkMan.
This revelation comes amid allegations linking Falana to the controversial figure, Bobrisky.
Recall that the tension escalated after VeryDarkMan shared a voice note alleging that Bobrisky’s godfather facilitated a private confinement arrangement during his six-month sentence for the misuse of naira notes.

He also accused certain officers from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) of accepting ₦15 million from Bobrisky to dismiss money laundering charges.
Also, VeryDarkMan claimed that Falana sought a presidential pardon for Bobrisky in exchange for ₦10 million.
In response, Falana firmly denied these allegations, issuing a 24-hour ultimatum for VeryDarkMan to retract his statements.
He clarified his interactions with Bobrisky, stating, “My son Falz informed me that Bobrisky had contacted him from prison… I advised him to use the proper channels for communication.”
Addressing the threats against his family, Falana expressed concern over the intimidation tactics being employed, stating, “Some of these guys who I believe are mentally deranged dared me that if you like to go to court, we shall burn your office.”
He assured his daughter that they are taking the threats seriously.
