Chief Akanni Aluko, a business tycoon, philanthropist, and publisher of the defunct Third Eye publications, has passed away.
Sir Folu Olamiti, one of Akanni Aluko’s closest friends, was informed by his wife, Mrs. Kofoworola Aluko.

She claimed that after a protracted illness, Aluko passed away on Friday morning, July 1, at the University College Hospital Ibadan (UCH).
On July 22, he would have turned 79 years old.
