Teenage Apprentice Goes Missing In Lagos After Four Months, Alarming Family
2 min readChinonso Orji, a 17-year-old teenager, disappeared after leaving his house for his job in Ogba, in the Ikeja district of Lagos State.
According to information obtained, Chinonso, a native of Okoko in the Bende Local Government Area of Abia State, left his house around 9 a.m. on June 25, 2022.Mercy, his older sister, claimed that he was last seen leaving a store after stopping to buy food.
He moved to Lagos near the end of February, she remarked. I brought him here to teach him how to run a clothing boutique. At the shop, he is learning how to purchase and sell goods. “I reported the incident to the Pen Cinema Police Station in Agege, where they assured us that broadcasts on radio and television would be made. Family members have also called and asked questions. He did not exhibit any unusual behavior, and no one is being investigated for any wrongdoing.
The food vendor stated she saw him when he came to buy food but that he could not wait due of the crowd at her shop because that is where we last looked for him.
Mercy claimed that the food vendor had told her that Chinonso had been seen conversing with an unnamed group of lads.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state police’s public relations officer, claimed to be unaware of the incident.
