FirstBank, in partnership with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and other stakeholders, has unveiled a series of nationwide activities to commemorate the 2026 Childrenโ€™s Day celebration.
The initiative is aimed at empowering Nigerian children through education, creativity, leadership development, and inspirational programmes designed to promote positive values among young people.
Organisers said the activities would feature educational competitions, talent showcases, interactive sessions, mentorship programmes, and entertainment events across different states in the country.
According to FirstBank, the partnership reflects its commitment to supporting child development and investing in the future of Nigerian children through impactful social initiatives.
The bank noted that this yearโ€™s celebration would also focus on encouraging children to embrace learning, innovation, and responsible citizenship in a rapidly changing world.
NTA and participating partners described the programme as an opportunity to celebrate the potential of Nigerian children while promoting inclusiveness and national unity.
Parents, schools, and community leaders were encouraged to support childrenโ€™s participation in the activities and create environments that nurture talent and personal growth.
The organisers further reaffirmed their dedication to initiatives that inspire and empower the next generation of leaders across Nigeria.
