Zamfara Gov Dumps PDP, Joins APC

Governor Dauda Lawal of Zamfara State, along with his deputy Mani Mummuni, has officially defected from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) to the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The announcement was marked on Monday with the APC flag being raised at the Zamfara State Government House, replacing the PDP banner.

The move is seen as a significant political development in the state ahead of upcoming elections, signaling a realignment of political forces.

Officials from the APC welcomed the governor and his deputy, praising their decision to join the ruling party and pledging support for their administration.
