Why We Can’t Make a Move For Alexis Sanchez Now – Conte
1 min readChelsea manager, Antonio Conte, has insisted it would be “disrespectful” to Arsenal and his players, to talk about signing Alexis Sanchez in the summer.
Alexis’ contract with the Gunners expires in 2018 and there have been speculations that he could leave the Emirates at the end of the season.
Some reports claim the Chile international has made Chelsea his first choice, as his family is settled in London.
“You know I don’t like to speak about other players of other clubs,” Conte told a pre-match news conference ahead of Wednesday’s clash with Manchester City.
“It’s disrespectful for the other club and, above all, for my players. It’s not the right moment to speak about this.”
Conte also admitted he was not sure if wing-back Victor Moses, will be fit for the game.
“I don’t know if Victor Moses will be available,” he said.
“There is another day to check the situation.
“We have to check the situation in the right way. There are a couple of situations that we have to check and then make the best decision for the starting XI tomorrow.”
