The man, identified as Mark, took the bold step to woo a partner after conventional methods failed him.
Social media users saw the funny side as his post went viral.
Taking a step further, Mark also initiated a fundraiser in an attempt to acquire more billboard advertising.
Sharing on Twitter, he wrote in part: “The dating apps weren’t working, so I bought a billboard…”
