UK Committed To Rule Of Law On China Ties, Starmer Tells Xi

Prime Minister Keir Starmer told China’s President Xi Jinping on Monday that Britain will be a “predictable, consistent, sovereign actor committed to the rule of law” in their bilateral ties, UK media reported.

“We want our relations to be consistent, durable, respectful” and to “avoid surprises where possible,” Starmer told his Chinese counterpart as they met at the G20 summit in Brazil’s Rio de Janeiro, Britain’s Press Association reported.
