UCL: PSG vs Arsenal second leg and Arteta’s future

When Arsenal beat Real Madrid 2-1 in the second leg of their UEFA Champions League quarter-final tie, they were installed as the favourites to win the trophy.
Mikel Arteta’s men had dispatched the current holders in emphatic fashion, progressing into the final four on a 5-1 aggregate.
Apart from the odds makers and betting companies, analysts observed that any team that eliminated Madrid usually ended up winning the competition.
So, typically, the Gunners were expected to breeze past Paris Saint-Germain in the semi-final. After all, they had defeated the Ligue 1 champions 2-0 earlier in the season.
However, in the 4th minute of the first leg at the Emirates, Ousmane Dembele swept home what eventually was the winner, as PSG left with a 1-0 advantage.
For Arsenal to realize their dream of winning the Champions League for the first time in the club’s history, they need to overturn this result against an in-form team on their own turf.
How easy will that be?
“I think it’s the same situation PSG faced against Liverpool,” Clinton McDubus, a top football analyst and podcaster, tells SOCIETY WATCH.
“A 1-0 deficit from the home leg isn’t dangerous like it used to be, with the elimination of away goals.
